Bartercard Terms and Conditions

We have been a member for 10 years, and are open listed on certain products and services.

TAILORING:

1. Available on Bartercard (full trade) during certain time of the year.
   1. Jul 2024 to further notice: $1000 limit per customer (unless any other specific promotion stated otherwise).
   2. The principal is to use up spare capacity for Bartercard customers, so if and when we are too busy, we will need to put a pause on it.
   3. GST portion is payble in cash, as this goes directly to IRD and members claim back directly from IRD.
2. Price, is the full price as listed on our website.
   1. If and when we run our internal promotions, the promotion price will be applicable for cash paying customer i.e. cash, eftpos, bank transfer, Master & Visa; thus it does not apply to Trade Dollar.
   2. From time to time we will have certain clearance products on full trade, and it will not be displayed on our website, but through Bartercard Marketplace.
3. Premium material surcharges: Full trade applied to our range of basic material (i.e. you don’t pay extra). If you choose premium materials, there will be a surcharge and this apply equally to all customers, payable in cash.
   1. These are cost directly charged to us by our suppliers.
   2. We will make clear to you what are our standard/basic materials, and what are the premium materials before you commit and pay.
4. Timeframe: Our general timeframe applied. In certain time of the year, it can also be 1-2 weeks longer if we are very busy with our cash paying client.
   1. Rush order may be considered, and the same term apply to all customers (i.e. urgent fee in cash applied, and alteration policy for rush order applied).
   2. We always recommend, for Bartercard customers, on full trade, give us plenty of time so we can help you spend trade dollars, while you help us use the idle capacity.
5. Continuous supply agreement: We always open to this opportunity. Please inquire so we can discuss your specific needs, and whether we can assist or not. Generally we will look at:
   1. Your needs, and minimum order per annum (e.g. $10,000T).
   2. How urgent you need the garments from ordering time. E.g. some have irregular orders, and each time they would require a very short turn around time, which put a strain on our production team, and this is something we would want to avoid.
   3. There may or may not be any discount, but you will have our commitment that if we do not take on full trade clients during the year, you are still able to if an arrangement has been reached.
   4. Continuous supply agreement will also likely involve a portion of cash component, so we can cover some of our costs on an on-going basis, and you will receive certain discounted price compare to other Bartercard members.
6. Online appointment booking required for all customers. Walk in customer may have to wait or turned down if we have other customers booked in to see us.

CLEARANCE: Always available on Bartercard (full trade). If and when we have any clearance, it will be listed on our account, on the marketplace. These may be displayed in one of our location, or in warehouse etc, so we will only list them online. Please refer to the listing and if you have any specific question you can ask there, we will be happy to answer.

ALL OTHER PRODUCTS AND SERVICES: are not on Bartercard. The principal is that those have higher cost, lower margin, which we have to pay suppliers in cash. These includes:

1. Ready to wear products.
2. Suit hire (as of Jan 2026).
3. Accessories.
4. Drycleaning.
5. Alternations.
6. Any other products services not mentioned above.
