Please make an online booking here (or on the pop up). Select the location, then the service you are after. Available times will be shown accordingly.

For Wellington and Christchurch customers, our tours booking will only show once location and dates are all confirmed.

In Auckland: Albany showroom is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; Auckland CBD showroom is open on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

We recommend booking online to see and select from the available times.

From time to time we will have extra opening days during peak seasons, for appointment only. These times will be shown on our booking system.

For quick pickup/ drop off you do not need to make an appointment.

We visit Wellington and Christchurch several times a year. If you’d like to catch us at the next trunk show, please email your contact details so we can add you to our mailing list, or book online. We typically open the booking calendar for the next one to two trunk shows in advance.

If you need your suit sooner, we offer a separate process to assist out-of-town customers (details below).

Lead time: The suit will be ready 4–6 weeks from the confirmation date. Occasional second fittings or adjustments may be needed, adding a few days to a few weeks.

Urgent orders (3–4 weeks): If you need the suit within 3–4 weeks, an urgent-order surcharge applies (typical range $100–$200, subject to change). Note: second fittings or minor adjustments may occur outside the initial 3-week window.

If your deadline is between 3 and 7 weeks, we still recommend placing an urgent order to speed up the process, with time for a second fitting if needed.

Wedding groups: For discounted wedding orders, please start the process 4 months in advance to allow ample time for the wedding party and us.

Holidays and downtime: Our delivery partners may experience delays mid-December to mid-January due to Christmas/New Year. Our production team takes about 10 days off around January–February for the Vietnamese New Year. If your timeline overlaps these periods, please check with us.

This will depend on what products you have ordered. Typically:

For readywear, what you ordered will be what produced, so alterations would be charged at normal alteration cost.

For tailoring, adjustments will be part of the service (unless you have changed sizes).

If you’d like a quote for a wedding group, please email sales@www.tailormadesuits.co.nz. We offer group discounts when you order 3 or more suits for the wedding (same fabric and design).

For group bookings, select the Group option in our booking system. We recommend visiting us first to confirm details before arranging fittings for all groomsmen. Once the order is confirmed, each groomsman can book his own fitting time at either of our locations.

Don’t leave it too late—we advise starting at least 3 months before the wedding to keep things stress-free.

Our flat rate postage charge is $10NZD for Auckland region, $20NZD for the North Island and $30NZD for the South Island. (Price is at 1st Apr 2022 – subject to change).

Packaging: Our suits are pressed and packed in a customised box, with signature required.

For small items, flat rate of $5 applied.

We can customize most aspects of every garment within our bespoke tailoring range. To help us confirm your design, please bring or email photos of the end look you’re aiming for.

Large sizes: A surcharge may apply. Pricing is based on the amount of fabric required and freight, with rough estimates calculated from height, weight, chest size, and the chosen material.

Children’s sizes: They receive a 30% discount off the adult price. We benchmark by height and weight, typically 1.4 m tall or less and 40 kg or less.

Booking a call-out: Please book a call-out through our online booking system. The time slot shown is indicative; we will contact you to confirm a suitable time and to confirm what you’ll need to bring.

What we bring: We typically bring only relevant fabric samples. If you’d like to see existing work, please visit our store.

Fees and coverage: Fees are quoted per trip and apply within a 25 km radius of our locations (north or west of Albany; south or east of the CBD). If you’re unsure, please contact us.

When to use this: Please use this option only in extreme circumstances or when there is no deadline.

This option is not our preferred approach, but it can be arranged. It’s usually available only for existing customers whose measurements are unchanged from previous suit order, to reduce risk for both parties.

Lead time: please expect longer processing than standard orders.

Fabric requirements: Please ensure the fabric is suitable for suit making and can withstand the tailoring process. And you can order additional fabric if needed.

Cost: Pricing will be the same as our stanard fabric price range. We do not purchase materials however we pay for shipping fabrics to our production team.

Shipping liability: We aren’t responsible for losses or damage in transit; liability rests with the carrier.
